Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 16 July 2026

These instructions explain how to delete your data from the Hemianao platform, including data received from Meta and other data processed in connection with the Meta (Facebook / Instagram) advertising integration. For general processing rules, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Deleting your entire Hemianao account

To permanently delete your account together with your profile and related content, send a request to hemianao@estalara.com from the e-mail address associated with the account. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity. We delete the account without undue delay, generally within 30 days of receiving the request. If completing the request requires additional information or the deadline must be lawfully extended, we will inform you. We retain certain data only where required by law or another valid basis (for example, accounting and tax records) — see Section 8 of the Privacy Policy for details.

If you want to delete only data related to the Meta integration, without closing your Hemianao account, you have two options with different scopes:

Disconnecting the integration (Section 3 below) — immediately removes from active production systems the Meta connection data: Meta user and business identifiers, access tokens, the Meta Pixel identifier, and the connected advertising-account and page identifiers. Disconnecting does not delete campaigns that remain in your Meta advertising account, nor the campaign configuration and performance data stored locally by Hemianao.
A Meta data deletion request sent to hemianao@estalara.com — covers all data originating from the Meta integration stored by Hemianao: the connection data listed above as well as locally stored campaign configurations, campaign identifiers, and campaign performance data.

Regardless of the option chosen, we may retain only data whose further retention is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims — in particular accounting and tax records relating to ad spend.

At present, Hemianao does not embed or fire the Meta Pixel on its pages and does not send conversion events via the Pixel or the Conversions API, so we do not store Meta event data about visitors on our side.

3. Disconnecting the Meta integration

You can disconnect the integration yourself at any time in Platform settings (Meta integration panel). Disconnecting:

immediately removes from active production systems the Meta user and business identifiers, access tokens, the Meta Pixel identifier, and the identifiers of the connected advertising account and page;
stops further Platform access;
sends Meta a request to revoke the app's permissions; deletion from our production systems takes place regardless of the outcome of that request.

You can also revoke the app's permissions directly in Meta: Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. Revoking the app's permissions in your Meta settings stops Hemianao's further access to your Meta account, but it does not delete the data already stored by Hemianao — to delete it, use the procedure described in Section 1 or 2.

4. How to send a request

Send a message to hemianao@estalara.com from the e-mail address associated with the account and include:

your username or the account e-mail address;
the scope of the request (the whole account or only Meta data).

Do not include your password, access tokens, or other credentials in the message.

If you no longer have access to the e-mail address associated with the account, contact us from another address and provide information that allows us to securely verify that the account belongs to you. We do not require you to share your password or access tokens.

5. Time to complete

Disconnecting the Meta integration removes local tokens and stops access immediately. Full deletion of the account and remaining data is carried out without undue delay, generally within 30 days of receiving the request. For complex or numerous requests, this period may be extended as permitted by law, and we will inform you.

6. Confirmation

If you disconnect the integration yourself, we show a confirmation in the Platform or send it to the e-mail address associated with your account. After completing a request sent by e-mail, we send a confirmation to the address from which the request was received. Data removed from production systems may temporarily remain in encrypted backups, which are isolated from ordinary operations, are not accessible in the normal functioning of the Platform, and are not restored to an active account.
